Field Marketing ...
While my time with Vital Proteins was brief, I learned a lot about event planning, networking, and strategic planning throughout this marketing campaign.
More importantly I was able to gain marketing experience, grow a valuable network of connections, and advocate for an incredible luxury brand.
This experience confirmed my love for creative marketing and further strengthened my passion for the Health, Beauty, and Wellness Industry.

Research...
As an Instructional Student Assistant for SJSU's Business Ethics and Negotiations classes I had the opportunity to collaborate with my professor, Dr. Ingerson, on a Case pedagogy project. The purpose of this research project was to improve student focus by analyzing the affective response of music on class mood.
I spent a few months testing different music genres, artists, and eras to finally curate a list of over 100 songs that illicit a specific response in students' mood. Additionally, I paired each song with a specific class activity or case study to further improve class focus and motivation.
I have been a Spotify user and music lover for as long as I can remember, so I really enjoyed throwing myself into this project and am very proud of the results!

Recognized Writing Skill...
Writing skills and competence acknowledged by highly regarded professors at San Jose State University.
International Marketing Professor regarded my paper, "Putting a Price Tag on Human Worth", as detailed and logical, while still strategically developing a plan to mitigate the risks of performing international business in a foreign country. Noted for portraying accurate research, and complete understanding of the assignment at hand. Macroeconomics Professor is currently using this research assignment, "The Ban on Plastic Straws in California", as an example for current students to portray succinct and proper Business English Writing, while integrating research on current events. Downloadable example of this assignment can be found to the right... |

Marketplace Simulation...
To complete a Marketing Management course we were required to participate in a competitive live marketplace simulation with our fellow colleagues.
Our group began with creating a brand image, name, mission statement, and strategy and tactics to succeeding as a company in the computer market. We collaboratively designed multiple product lines of PC's and laptops to appeal to our target market, as well as appropriate advertising and promotions to generate demand. We then had to determine manufacturing operation processes, including fixed and operating capacity limits, in order to keep distribution costs low.
As the VP of Finance in our association, Pear, I was responsible for managing and monitoring the Sales, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet, and Income Statements each quarter to ensure our business continuously expanded in market share size.
